FiveSages Terms of Use
Last updated: February 26, 2026
1. Operator and contract scope
The service is provided by Five Sages LTD, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom. The registered address is 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. Questions regarding these Terms may be sent to legal@fivesages.ai.
These Terms apply to individual users, business customers, team members, and other authorised users of the platform. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation and these Terms apply to both you and that organisation to the extent permitted by law.
2. What the platform is and is not
FiveSages is a multi-model AI coordination platform. It allows users to submit prompts, upload documents, select third-party AI systems, and compare or continue outputs across structured stages such as drafting, debate, improvement, synthesis, and follow-up. The platform also provides orchestration, billing, storage, auditability, and interface features for these workflows.
FiveSages does not hold itself out as a law firm, medical provider, financial adviser, investment adviser, tax adviser, accountant, or other regulated professional service. The platform does not replace independent professional judgment. Although FiveSages applies guardrails, prompts, and workflow controls intended to encourage lawful and safe output, substantive answers are generated by third-party AI systems selected within the platform.
You acknowledge that AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances, and that outputs may differ materially across providers and across repeated runs.
3. Eligibility and account rules
The service is intended only for users aged 18 or older. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
You must provide accurate account information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and promptly notify us of unauthorised access or suspected compromise. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account except to the extent caused by our own breach of law or contract.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable law, contract, platform documentation, and provider restrictions. You must not upload or submit content that you do not have the right to process, disclose, or instruct us to process.
- Use the service to infringe rights of privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or trade secrecy.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, scrape, or abuse the platform, billing systems, or provider integrations.
- Use the service for spam, fraud, harassment, malware, credential abuse, or unlawful surveillance.
- Rely on the service as the sole basis for emergency, medical, legal, employment, or regulated financial action.
- Upload unlawful, deceptive, or rights-violating content, including material you lack authority to share.
5. High-stakes and regulated subject matter
The platform may be used for education, research, drafting support, comparison of viewpoints, issue spotting, and preparation for discussions with qualified professionals. It is not provided as a substitute for licensed or regulated advice. This limitation is especially important for legal, medical, health, finance, investment, tax, insurance, employment, compliance, and other high-stakes matters.
You are solely responsible for verifying citations, statutes, case references, calculations, factual claims, timelines, jurisdictional assumptions, safety implications, and provider-specific limitations before relying on any output. If a matter involves emergencies, litigation deadlines, signing authority, human safety, regulated decisions, or material rights and obligations, you must seek appropriate human review without delay.
6. User content and permissions
As between you and us, you retain ownership of your prompts, uploads, documents, and other content you submit, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate the service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, store, transform, and display your content solely to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and lawfully administer the service.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, notices, and lawful bases necessary for the content you submit and for the instructions you give to the platform. You remain responsible for choosing what to upload and for redacting or withholding information that should not be shared with third-party AI providers.
7. No training commitment and support access limits
FiveSages does not use customer prompts, uploaded documents, parsed content, or model outputs to train our own models or fine-tune our systems by default. We also do not use customer content for product improvement without explicit opt-in.
Human access to customer content is restricted. Support review is intended to occur only when the user or customer requests support or where a documented break-glass event is required for security, abuse, or incident response. Sensitive content reads are logged. Additional details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
8. Billing, credits, and service changes
Certain features may require paid credits or other commercial arrangements. Prices, model availability, provider routing, rate limits, and feature scope may change over time. Credits, refunds, and settlements are governed by the platform billing logic applicable at the time of the transaction, subject always to mandatory law and any separate written commercial agreement.
We may suspend or limit service use where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, unpaid balances, operational harm, legal exposure, provider restriction breaches, or security incidents.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, fit for a particular purpose, compliant with all jurisdictional requirements, or free from provider-side changes or outages.
We disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising by course of dealing, usage, or trade practice. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Five Sages LTD and its officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, savings, data, contracts, opportunities, or business interruption arising from or related to the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or in connection with the service will not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid to us for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or GBP 100 if you used only a free tier. This cap does not apply where liability cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time. Session deletion within the product triggers hard deletion of the associated session content, subject to narrowly scoped legal, billing, and compliance exceptions described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion may be requested through the product settings area and is processed through a backend erasure workflow.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably required to protect the service, comply with law, investigate misuse, address provider requirements, or manage security risks. We may also retain limited records where required for tax, accounting, security, or legal compliance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless a different forum is required by mandatory law.
